LOCATION

Founded in 1959, North Salinas High School is located in the northern end of the City of Salinas in the agricultural rich Salinas Valley only 20 minutes away from the beautiful Pacific Ocean and the scenic Monterey/Big Sur coasts.  North Salinas High School sustains the unique heritage of being the alma mater of Mr. Robert Smith the founder of Dorothy's Place, former San Francisco 49er Super Bowl Champion, Mr. Del Rodgers, and 2008 Academy Award Winner, Mr. Dustin Lance Black.

North Salinas High School, with approximately 2,100 students of diverse ethnicity is the second high school of the four comprehensive high schools in the Salinas Union High School District.

TAKE HIGHWAY 101 SOUTH BOUND

EXIT BORONDA ROAD (by the Northridge Mall) IN SALINAS

Turn left onto Boronda Road

Continue straight through MAIN Street

Continue straight through SAN JUAN GRADE ROAD intersection

At the next light, turn right onto McKINNON Street

Continue straight on McKinnon Street through the 4-way stop

McKinnon dead ends into the student parking lot of NSHS on Alvin Drive

Turn left onto ALVIN Drive

Turn right onto KIP Drive (front of school)

You may park in the staff parking lot.

TAKE HIGHWAY 101 NORTH BOUND

EXIT BORONDA ROAD (by the Northridge Mall) IN SALINAS

Turn right onto Boronda Road

Continue straight through MAIN Street

Continue straight through SAN JUAN GRADE ROAD intersection

At the next light, turn right onto McKINNON Street

Continue straight on McKinnon Street through the 4-way stop

McKinnon dead ends into the student parking lot of NSHS on Alvin Drive

Turn left onto ALVIN Drive

Turn right onto KIP Drive (front of school)

You may park in the staff parking lot.

The main office is located in the main building (enter through the main entrance, and go to your right to enter the main building).
