Welcome to the Salinas Union High School District’s website.
The District’s mission is to develop educated learners to the highest standards, preparing them to achieve their life’s aspirations, and to be productive citizens in a global society.
Public education is presently going through many changes. Budgets have never been tighter, and the demand for programs has never been greater. During the coming months, the Board of Trustees will be challenged to make difficult decisions that will directly affect how the district provides educational opportunities for our students. The Board of Trustees meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month.
These are your schools! I urge everyone to get involved. Schools host a variety of events throughout the school year, and I hope you have an opportunity to attend one or more of them.
I am certain we will meet the challenges coming in the next few years, and we will do it together. Please get involved.
